About Us :

The Civil Engineering Bachelor Degree Program is one of the programs at UNEJ Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FT UNEJ). This program was established based on the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) Decree Number 1990/D/5/2002, dated September 20, 2002. The S-1 Civil Engineering Program initially operated at JL. Slamet Riyadi No. 62 Patrang Jember, with the last accreditation rank being "A" issued by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT) through Decree No. 1269/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/V/2018, valid until September 21, 2023. Subsequently, the operational activities of the S1 Civil Engineering program moved to the TEGAL BOTO campus area at Jl. Kalimantan No. 37, phone 0331-410241, fax 0331-410241, until the present. Currently, the S1 Civil Engineering Program is led by Dr. Anik Ratnaningsih, S.T., M.T., who was appointed as the Head of the Program based on the University Rector Decree No. 334/UN25/KP/2015, dated January 12, 2015, until a period of 4 years after the issuance of that decision.

Vision :

The vision of the S-1 Civil Engineering Program is:

"To be the primary reference for civil engineering development, possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, environmental awareness, and excellence in facing regional and global societal changes."

The FT UNEJ vision encompasses the unique vision of the PSTS, evident in the key indicators of the PSTS vision, which are:

  1. To be the primary reference for civil engineering development, manifested in the programs ability to develop civil engineering that supports industrial agriculture through research on food security infrastructure through the provision of complete laboratory equipment, human resources participating in skill certifications from various professional associations domestically and internationally, and collaborations with various institutions both domestically and internationally.
  2. Entrepreneurial development is realized in the form of promoting technopreneurship among civil engineering students through instilling an entrepreneurial mindset with principles of economics, social responsibility, and occupational health and safety. This can be observed through the preparation of entrepreneurship proposals, Student Creativity Program (PKM), online business units in both civil engineering and other fields, as well as technopreneurship training and guest lectures managed by students.
  3. Environmental awareness is manifested through the application of civil engineering knowledge in managing the environment, including the utilization of agricultural waste, green building technology, and environmentally friendly materials.
  4. Excellence in addressing regional and global societal changes is realized through the programs tridharma activities in implementing Industry 4.0 technology, sustainable irrigation and drainage, remote sensing usage, climate change adaptation, road safety, road performance information systems, and road improvements.
